Got Used Audio Gear?
August 31, 2015 by CFUZ

Peach City Radio CFUZ is gearing up for the 4th annual Okanagan Vinyl Festival.

On Tuesday September 8 CFUZ will hold an audio equipment donation drive at the SOECparking lot from 4:00 to 6:00pm. Donations of audio equipment in working condition will be accepted. Turntables, speakers, and all stereo components will be tested by the CFUZ volunteers and readied for sale at the 4th Annual Okanagan Vinyl Festival later in the month. All proceeds from donated audio gear will help Peach City Radio raise the funds needed to set up a community use radio studio in Penticton.

In previous years Peach City Radio has also asked for donations of vinyl records. The response has been overwhelming, with thousands of LPs donated. CFUZ is always interested in accepting donations of vinyl and other music media, but due to storage limitations, only donations of good quality rock & roll and jazz can be accepted at this time. For more info about the audio equipment donation drive please email info@peachcityradio.org or call 250-488-9551. A limited pickup service will be offered to those who can’t make the September 8th drop-off event.

The 4th Annual Okanagan Vinyl Fest will take place on Sunday September 20th. The event has been so successful that it is making the move to a larger space - the Penticton Seniors' Drop-in Centre at 2965 South Main Street. With over 40 vendor tables onsite, vinyl collectors and music lovers can purchase a wide selection of albums from other collectors based in BC and Alberta.
