September 21st is fast approaching, and with it, the 3rd annual Okanagan Vinyl Fest! The 2014 edition of this event is already sold out in terms of vendors, with nearly 30 tables of LPs, 45s, 78s, hi-fi and audio equipment and vinyl art on offer from vendors across BC. The Okanagan Vinyl Fest would like to thank our Turntable sponsor London Drugs, along with our LP sponsors Burger 55, Culmina Family Estate Winery and Flipmixx for supporting this years event. Peach City Radio DJs will be broadcasting live from the Okanagan Vinyl Fest this year, and you can tune in to the action via our online stream!

Tonight (September 3) Peach City Radio volunteers will be at the South Okanagan Events Centre taking donations of vinyl records from the public. Anyone looking to rid themselves of vinyl records is encouraged to donate their collection to the Society. All proceeds from the sale of used vinyl benefit the Peach City Community Radio Society in their efforts to establish a full-time community-based FM broadcast in Penticton.

Finally, on Saturday September 13, Peach City Radio will be broadcasting the 2014 Love & Records Festival in downtown Lethbridge Alberta to our online stream. This festival is organized by CKXU, and includes 30+ vinyl vendors, as well as featuring a full day lineup of live music by Shout Out Out Out Out, The Wet Secrets, Five Alarm Funk, Biblical and more! We look forward to bringing you a taste of live music on our online stream!
